    Hey,

I am working on writing an album right now and would like to turn it into something. I am in Southern California and play the guitar at a rather basic level. I'm a vegan straightedge queer anarcho crust punk - you don't have to be. I am pretty much for freedom from all forms of oppression. Anyone else into the same stuff?

Contact me. Oh, I have digital recording gear too so can work long distances. Age would prefer 18+.

    Ignorant.

RE: Age only required because I don't want to get legal authorities involved with persons who are yet their own property. Not my rules. You dig? Your response was very ignorant. I might be an idealist but I live in reality. I don't eat children and I could be accused of it if I had a project with minors so I avoid the under 18 crowd. Good luck!

I personally wouldn't want to be in a band with someone under 18 unless they were related to me or something. I wouldn't want to be legally responsible if their parents found out they had a beer or got laid or something and I was the "adult in charge". It's simply a preference. Calling it ageist is like calling someone a homophobe for being straight.

I'd be quite interested to join in :p
I'm a 19 y.o. straight vegetarian crusty drunk and pot smoker from Holland I play guitar scream/growl and occasionally play the oil barrel (which is awesome if you want something more experimental) :ecouteurs:
so if you're interested I'd love to be involved :p

 (imagine a glass of water for you) :ecouteurs:

    nutz!

p.s. what's your project going to be called

I enjoy crust - not sure if that's the end goal. We'll see what develops.

Project name is "Metta" - term in Buddhism for "Loving kindness." I started it a few years back but never really went anywhere.

After thinking about it, I would rather have folks be somewhat local. I am thinking about being more of a solo project.

I have some lyrics written and will start working on music soon. Right now, the sound is more Rudimentary Peni - so more anarcho at the moment.

Thanks for your replies and interest.

    Hey,

No recordings yet - I've been working on getting my skills better to make something awesome. I'll post as soon as I got something cool together. Sorry for the wait. :)

Doesn't matter...but that's awesome. The world needs more queer musicians. Who are your influences? \m/

So...I recorded my first song in five years about 10 days ago. I am hoping to have a full lp eventually. But, I've spent the last year, working on learning to play the guitar and such to make some interesting lo-fi diy punk noise. Let me know what you think! Link is: http://boicock.bandcamp.com/

Cool cool, but your singing in some songs sounds like you have some stage fright or something like that (I don't know how to say it in English :D) but I guess that's not such a big problem.
I like the VD Day, nice lyrics :)
Keep working! :) and good luck finding people to play with you.
