articles like that are a waste of time, anyone can make up or bend facts to support whatever opinion they have, preachers do it all the time, and I know this was posted as a joke, i still feel it's a waste of time. (and still pledge that women are far smarter than men )

Not trying to imply any sexism whatsoever, but what I've come to understand is that generally, biologically women are more intelligent, and what men lack in brains, they make up for in "brawn".

Hence the reason why many unintelligent people resort to violence when it is completely unnecessary, or if their ego is affected. Of course this generalization doesn't imply to everyone.

what are you people basing this off. This study isn't any more made up than the study that says women are more intelligent than men. I've come to understand I'm smarter than everyone, man or woman

This. And I think I remember reading a couple of articles wayyy back on how, on average women have a higher IQ than men.
Also i'm pretty sure it's common knowledge that testosterone promotes muscle growth, and athletic capability and men have more in their bodies than women.

Like I said, it's a biological generalization, but it obviously doesn't apply to everyone.

 

I'm sure most British people know that The Daily Mail readers/writers/editors are sexist, racist morons. I can't see how anyone would read that paper than other as a very bad parody.

 

Oh, we have quite a few "scientists" in germoney too, relapsing back into some 19th century chauvinism and writing endless tractates that appear to be some weird kind of parodiy to everyone who didn't slept the whole time in highschool. Too bad that some idiots never wake up...

From what I remember when I kept at least my ears open:
Female brains are smaller - in relation to their general smaller physique - but the density of neurons is higher and the bridge between the left and right half of the grey stuff better organized.

and modern psychology knows not only one "intelligence" - there is a multitude of "intelligences":
social and emotional competence, abstract and spatial perception, the ability to relate things and observations - and lots of further subdivisions - the science is still very young and only slowly recovering from chauvinism and racism. bleak statistics and pure measurability just try to squeeze the whole universe between the ears in a little shitty drawer to keep it describable, most of the studies have more than questionable foundations and give a shit about cultural or technological development - useless and sometimes dangerous.

 

Actually they kicked me out for refusing to leave my brains at the guard house while attending the yearly "join the army, it's lots of fun"-show at 9th grade.

Don't all studies like this assume that IQ actually means something? That's not really a whole lot more comprehensive then judging people's intelligence on their grades in school...
