Well, "White Minority" makes fun of racist people as far as i know. Laughs at the idea that white people should be a minority and all their fears that that would be the end of the world.

Why shouldn't they be able to be anti-racist? Many bands are aggressive and such, but that's not because they hate all or wish people to be hurt or discriminated.

And if they are anti-racist - GREAT!

They are not anarcho-punk... yeah... but I wouldn't claim that slip it in is sexist... It is about sex, alright, but that doesnt mean it is sexist...
Actually I quite like the song (which is of course no prove that it is not sexist)

Yeah, in his spoken words he's said some pretty clearly anti-racist things.

They're not racist in any way, shape, or form. They've had latino and black members at some point or another.

I don't understand why people can easily see "Six Pack" and "TV Party" as parody songs, then accuse them of being sexist because of "Slip It In" and "Loose Nut". I guess if those tracks were fast punk songs people wouldn't even blink, but because they're "heavy metal", it's obviously sexism!

maybe it's all in the interpretation, but to me it is a sexist song, and some of their album artwork was sexist also (jealous again comes to mind.) There's a thin line between parody and offensive i guess. i'm not trying to say people shouldn't listen to them or anything, just that their message may be mixed.

Also greg ginn owned sst, and they put out the descendent's Milo goes to college which has one of the most blatant homophobic songs of that era 'I'm Not A Loser.' Or i suppose that's parody to so it's ok to use lyrics like "you fucking homo, you suck, mr. buttfuck you don't belong here, no way you fucking gay, i'm not a loser." Hardly open minded in mye ears...

 

"Slip it in" is a good track to fuck to...well my boyfriend seems to think so but it can be a bit much sometimes when you really are not in the right headspace to listen to it.

 

I think the main reason SST signed them was because they were an up-and-coming SoCal band, and that was the label's main specialty at the time, California punk/hardcore (although they would later on branch out to other areas, like the Midwest, where they signed Husker Du, a band with two gay members).
