wikipedia / anarchopedia is the best place to start

the best book i can recommand you is "the unknown revolution" by Voline, a russian anarchist. The best and most complete anarchist point of view on the russian revolution, including the whole kronsdadt story.

i also have many many othe references, but it's in french :(

So this is the “heroic revolt against Bolshevik totalitarianism” that the anarchists put at the centre of their critique of the Russian revolution. A sorry collection of anti-Semitic peasants, led by pro-Tsarist Generals who openly admit that their adherence to “soviet” power was nothing but a device to take it themselves. These heroic “rebels”, when faced with a workers’ uprising in support of Bolshevism, which was also backed by many sailors, used terror and repression to maintain their hold on power. An interesting bunch of facts on which to hang a theory denouncing Bolshevism!
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Turns out these 'new facts' are simply the thoughts of another trot bastard

Other 'facts' note the tragic necessity of murdering workers.

    and for lolz and icepicks

    fuck i hate Socialist Alternative
They are the biggest 'leftie' group in Melbourne, consisting of mostly rich Melbourne University (the most exclusive one for y'all) students masquerading as workers, cultist as fuck too, the leadership don't like young members talking to other groups lest they learn something. Hoping for them to invest in some property in Guyana soon.

Now for something more sensible, and, like, based on real events and facts, and other, you know, superfluous shit. You know, we're building a vanguard of middle class wankers here!

All power to the Soviets and not to parties!

Just finished reading the first book of Voline's The Unknown Revoluton this morning. It basically gets up to installation (ascent to power) of the Bolsheviki government in the middle of 1917. Just starting to read the second book now.

    WTF !!!!

As far as i know, the kronsdadt sailors were not tsarist generals but the elite of the red army who did the revolution with the bolsheviks, and then revolted against state totalitarism and centralisation.... Sounds like stalin-era disinformation bullshit to me !! It's the bolshevik who used terror and repression to maintain their hold on power, the sailors were peaceful and just wanted the bolshevik to leave them alone at kronsdadt!!

    i'm going to puke !!!

This certainly doesn't sound right from Voline's first book of the Unknown revolution. He states that at the time the Bolsheviks took power there was no real anarchist movement within Russia (because most of the anarchists were exiled in Europe) and what little movement there was, was completely disorganised.
