Not as uncommon as one might think. At least in the U.S. there have been a handful of right wing hate groups that are all about ecology, conservation of nature, and protecting the environment.

And then there's that second rate Charlie Chaplin look-a-like from Austria who introduced the whole concept of ecological conservation when he came into power. He was the one that introduced hunting and fishing limits, hunting licenses, gaming regulations, and it's a well known fact that this failed artist and paper hanger was also a vegetarian. (Also anti smoking laws and regulations)

Yeah, a lot of nazis/white nationalist-supremacists use that rune. For some strange reason, a lot of them are Odinists. I think that particular rune is know as "Yarrgl" (Not sure if I spelled that right) Andrew Pierce and The National Alliance had one made of wood nailed to their compound warehouse.

nazis super fetishize the norse and norse mythology, check out "the golden one" on youtube, fascist bodybuilder that claims to be the champion of the gods, etc,
ps: a great way to find out about nazis in your area is to start going to hema and midevil reinactment events, keep your head down, and present youreself as a norse pagan, nazis will find you

Oh yeah, the golden one, he's a prize wanker. Came across him watching vlog's by a trans person (m to f ) called Contrapoints, who did some great stuff taking the piss out of nazi's. You've also got to watch out at Celtic Festivals as they can be a cover for white supremacist types as well. We've come across it in the folk scene here, mostly its just diddly diddly music but then again it can be an expression of racist white pride.

The hardcore nazi's saw Christianity as contaminated by Jewish filth, setting up their own version of the church, to combat Catholicism, Lutheranism and Protestantism. Himmler and the more mystic nazi's saw that as a cop out and promoted Norse paganism which is where the odinist variety of nazi stems from, the SS. They're even nastier pieces of shit than your average nazi, if that's possible.

Anyway check out Contrapoints, they're screamingly funny and a provocation to nazi's.

Runes are a dead give away of nazi identity. Celtic patterns are also increasingly suspect as expression of xenophobia at the very least. They didn't use to be, so you cannot jump to conclusion, but they are reasons to tread carefully until you can suss out more about the person wearing them.
