      I never did ask you, are the fires affecting your area where you live in any way? We get a brief blurb about it on U.S. news, but no great details. I hope you and your loved ones are safe.

      Also as the holidays start to get crazier and crazier I might not be here as often as usual, until after the new year passes, so please don't be too surprised if my answers or responses aren't as immediate.

        We are in an extreme fire danger area, have a constant smoke haze, due to fires not far away. Also extreme heat wave [40c+ over 3 days]. It's not going to take much for it to go up. We're ready to evacuate, trouble is where to go. 2 ways out, nth or sth. nth already burning, and sth easily blocked by fire.
