:lmao: the comments are great and many are right on target...can't really support a space that has banned multiple friends with false accusations such as child abuse levied against some of the most outstanding anarcho parents I've ever known..never been but I've heard some really horrible accounts, on the other hand Jang from Resist & Exist has nothing but good things to say about them...

I've heard only a few cons, and many pros, but I also don't have much personal experience. I've always WANTED to like them, so Mar if you have bad news and info, I'd love to hear it. I've always viewed them as a bit of an inspiration, because since even before I was an anarchist, at 14 I wanted to open a vegan coffee shop/ restaurant. After uncovering the essence of anti-capitalism, I decided on that I wanted to open it, and have it be worker owned. I'd figure it's one of the best possible things you can do to make a living wage as an anarchist, and not sacrifice your beliefs, plus I planned on donating as much profit as possible to anarchist collectives and organizations.

On a second note, things like this always also for me have pushed the understanding that small business is always worthwhile, because it's still working class trying to survive, regardless if the managers who, yes, are still the employing class, may have a bit of control over their employees. Yes, I do adhere and believe one with the IWW philosophy that no employing class and employee class are equal, but I believe even so, there is a bit of a gray area that exists with small business, and thus find some anarchists ideals of "total destruction" to be somewhat counter-productive when coming to fighting for the working class. I almost feel that many anarchists willing to smash random cars and small shops, unbeknownst of who "owns" them, kind of stray away from the ideal of anarchists not being vanguards, but rather wanting the working class to emancipate themselves.
