I was wondering what else you arnarchists listen to, assuming u are not limiting yourself to only anarchopunk.

Some of my favorites that are non anarcho, are The Pogues, Nick Cave, Ewan MacCall, Murder City Devils, Bad Religion, Love, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen, etc.

i could argue there is anarchy in that music... but i won't :)

Ska, Reggae, Thrash, certain variations of Metal, Folk, (though most folk acts i listen to could be considered anarchist)

I too am into a lot of American anti-folk, seems like a great scene you've got over there.

Your typical Irish folk music inspired by rebel songs I'm quite into. I used to be quite heavily into Japanese powerviolence and fastcore but I've eased up on that now. Oh and same with Oi! though I've started gettin into European stuff of late. General punk rock is pretty awesome too and I do listen to some other acts like Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen and there's a band I'm really into atm called the Magnetic Fields who are just the dog's bollocks.

Speaking of folk, i really dig a lot of old Uk folk, old rebel songs, murder ballads, etc. American folk can't hold a candle to it, possibly because some of the uk songs date back before there was even discovery of this place! I'd love to hear any good anarcho-folk, or stuff close to.

I limit myself to punk and hardcore in the broadest sense of the word. This has been a very conscious decision for me as the music started intriguing me, especially the diversity. So yeah, apart from Anarcho I listen to a lot of other punk, lol.
I can actually appreciate most kinds of music though, except electronic hardcore and happy hardcore, those don't do much for me.

Hmm, I mostly only know Irish rebel songs meself, comin from Irish stock but Chumbawamba did an album called English Rebel Songs I think and has things like The Smashing of the Van on it. Wat Tyler also put an old poem to music in a song called The Sheriff of Nottingham which is proto-anarchic, you might say. Contemporary-wise I'm bein told Robb Johnson is an artist to look into but I can't say I've heard any of his stuff meself. Hope that helps somewhat.

English Rebel Songs 1381-1914 is the name of the Chumbawamba album, by the way. I'm supposed to have that somewhere lol.

The Pogues, the Tossers, the Dubliners, Stiff Little Fingers, Oysterband, the Levellers, the Ramones, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly...
basically, lots of folk music, and I love me metal as well, though there are too many obscure metal bands that I love to mention here...

I love The Men They Couldn't Hang, especially Night of a Thousand Candles and How Green is My Valley. Wish I could see them live, but it just never seems to happen.
