Hey Anarcho-Punk from Israhell, discovered this site lately and it looked prety interesting to me... 18 from Tel Aviv, Punk Rocker, Anarchist, Anti-Zionist, Antifascist, Vegan, Pacifist (though not consider property damage as 'violance') and Anti-Capitalist. Hope I'll get along. I need to practice my english anyway so I guess it's a good place to do that...
There use to be a whole movements of anarcho punk in israhell during the 90s and the begining oh the 00s, a whole scene of politicly active punks mainly against stuff like the occupation and animal rights, it's never was a big movement but it's existed, now it's less and less but there still punks going to places like Bill'in every once in a while and active in groups such as the Anarchists Against The Wall, and there's still bands singing against capitalism, anti-zionism, the occupation and animal abuse
There's a lot first of all I would recommand Nehey Neatza, the most known and outspoken anarchopunk band in Israhell and basicly the band that started the whole anarchopunk scene here during the 90's. Songs such as Reality Grinds (anti-capitalist lyrics) Sell Setlers To Slavery Keep Youth Away From Judaism and so on. i would also recommand Nikmat Olalim (=Revenge of the Infants, name of a jewish terrorist group) Ghetto Syndrom Milk Kids (animal rights lyrics) There's also Smartut Kahol Lavan (=blue and white rag), my favorite political punk band, which does not exist in youtube unfortunately though you can download them here: http://giorasftp.blogspot.com/2009/03/b ... _7804.html and lots of other israeli political and none-political punk at that site http://giorasftp.blogspot.com I would also recommand: Dir Yassin, Shaked Maalima Misim, Uzbeks, Sinat Hinam, Sloppy Youth, Brutal Assault, Vaadat Kishut Enjoy
There's a pretty interesting documentary about israeli punk actually.. You can download it from my site, go to this site and find the movie: "Jericho's Echo - Punk Rock In The Holy Land".. http://thefatpunk.dk/index.php?underside=movies.html
