    Muddy Waters
    Charlie Parker
    Mississippi John Hurt

kay i started to merge into the punk category ask me a week from now and i could probly name you another 20 that arent fresh in my mind...........gutter elitists fuck off!!! a true anarchist does not allow such mundane boundaries to intrude his pleasures then again a true anarchist doesnt ever talk about what a true anarchist is for he is a clean slate and it would be valueless

While there is some validity there, I doubt a 'true' anarachist would claim to like corporate music on an anarcho site and not expect to take some flak for it. Just food for thought.

Good call right there. I almost forgot they existed for a while until I read this. Preparing for Roky Erikson binge mode now.
    Honestly, thank you.

Another good call. Bringing me back in touch with my '77 roots, which I almost forgot about a long time ago. I now know what I'm doing tonight.

Oh, my weak spot: The whole 60's Garage Punk multiverse... Expensive import vinyls with lots of trash but priceless gems too, rare limited number releases, myths and legends of brilliant but lost for ever b-sides vs. lack of time and more important money, the local media control don't like/understands it and calls it hippie trash - huh, I'm suffering...
And the Elevators are only the most prominent top of the hill: Starfires, Moving Sidewalks (pre-ZZ-Top), Lothar And The Hand People, Music Machine, Les Sauterelles from switzerland (!)...

Lurkers - imagine hitchhiking at the age of 14 all the way through quiet europe just to get a pair of those fab Dr. Martens and not even knowing much more than Pex Sistols, Stranglers and a little bit Clash from the tv (germoney was always somewhats of behind the mountains) - still planning to return before monday I met some punks in London who took me to a pub gig - flashbang, my heart went into the Shadow, Shadow, Shadow... a week later I was send home the official way after beeing caught on the street and transfered to the youth department, too bad my ol'parents don't gave a shit about being excited, agitated, a hatching punk... :o and my mom mom mom took my Martens away :'( .

proclamation of the local media control:
grow a beard again, grease your boots, listen to blake babies if it's absolutely necessary, even Attwenger has become tolerable in endless hours,
but if this multicolor-shaded, swirl engulfed, sitar swinging, beatle-like creature ever dares to crawl out of you -
i swear, i'll drown it in the kitchen sink! (and even gobble will assist me...)

    some more favorites for today:
    Pekinske Patke (Serbia)
    Obojeni Program (Serbia)
Egon Bondy And The Plastic People Of Prague (Czechoslowakia before the iron curtain fell)
The Rezillos (just to erase any doubt on the punk integrity of the local media control)

Praise the local media control for:
Maybe a bit unpunk, Egon Bondy was the czech Frank Zappa and many of the associated people took politics really seriously, constantly bouncing between being injailed and doing their very expressive arts, music, poetry and collective living. If anybody has material about or from them, pleeeeaaaaseee contact me!
