im retty sure when crass started stev ignorant was real young and probably a little nieve and didnt really think that they would get so big/popular, $23 (im assuming U$ dollars) is pretty steep and its probably just gonna fuck with young kids heads cos they gonna wannna see CRASS and get the whole unity/anarchist/DIY vibe when really they gonna get a fucken middle aged skinhead lookin fella and a bunch of younger musicians wit heaps of tatts and piercing and a massive stage with a hardout lighting rig and mean as P.A doin really good( by that i mean really shit and missing the point) crass covers

im sorry steve if you reading this you did inspire me and all but maybe you should have left crass bak in 84 and maybe done a shwarzenegger (spelling?) reunion or just dont do crass coverz

Have you read any of the letters on Crassunoffical. I'd be interested to know what you think. There's a lot to read , some of the letters from Penny Rimbaud and Allison show how they think they can do what they like regardless of other copyright holders wishes.

I saw Crass playing here in finland in december and i thought that at least music-wise the show was good and brought back a lot of memories.
Yes, i thought it was weird that it costed 12 euros and the show was in a club that could fit over 500 people in it but then i thought that touring costs have gone up, their band is pretty big + they had done promotion and other stuff thats not free.
During the gig Steve at least made the impression that he hasnt changed and that his ideals are still the same.

Im not trying to make excuses for steve or for the tour and i do find it sad that the tour was organized probably only the make some money but i was just saying what i saw and felt that night.
The club were the gig was held was not nearly even half full, what i was trying to say is that i though it was weird that the gig was held at such a big place that was known to be expensive.
But on the other hand there have been such bands as Napalm Death and such playing in that same club and charging more than what steve ignorant asked for.
It sucks that finland is so far away from everything and i guess im just used to "bigger" and more succesful bands asking for 20 euros or more for a ticket.
