As it notes above, shitloads of Third Reich high ups went to Egypt, thanks to the Catholic Church to a larger extent. Many also went to Spain or Latin America. In Egypt though, they had a huge influence on the Egyptian State, and pushing to destabilse the Israeli State especially. Well, those Nazis of the 'third power' political positions did anywayz. Many more got picked up as CIA agents because of their solid anti-communist cred! Some even went into the Soviet secret police ranks, thinking that Soviet power was less insidious than the US.

The funniest thing I think is the Algerian independence conflict. The French Fascists went to fight for the empire, and were fighting against the ex-Third Reich German veterans whom supported Algerian Independence from the 'bourgeois, US backed' French, mainly via Egypt.

There was a European wide fash conference recently i heard. Talks of international cooperation broke down but. Fash unity is hard to achieve when they all hate each other, especially in places like the former Yugoslavia. These internal shitfights and splits is worse than the trots, which is great imho.

 

Not entirely, there's some crackpot Nazis who believe what Hamas is doing is good to further Nationalism, they are a nationalist organisation after all.

 

Jewish is a race but at the same time it isn't a race, its not the same as lets say Latino because they share no ancestors. it is a race in that membership (even without belief) is passed through a genetic connection, you cannot choose not to be Jewish if you are born in.

 

It still not a race. Sounds more like an extended family.

I think the non-existence of race is imperative to anarchist (and anti-fascist struggle). It proves that no one is biologically inferior because of their skin colour or their cultural heritage.

 

I agree with you; however most people will still find that someone is inferior due to their skin color even if they knew that race didn't exist. Think of other ascribed statuses we judge people on: gender,sexual orientation, class, etc. While we know that these just how people are, they are still judged by it. In order to combat this, we have to acknowledge that most people do see "race" (class etc) even if we don't.

 

Race does exist; as a social construnt the world over. In any future(and longstanding) anarchist society, I believe that construnt would simply fade over a generation or two because there would be a lack of structural abuse that would reinforce it.
