You know you had Guns of Brixton on your list which is just a cover/tribute to Clash/Joe Strummer.

These lists are kinda silly anyway, people giving their fave songs, not the most 'important' ones.

i thought it would be a good thing for people who are new to anarcho punk to have something they can look at and easily discover good stuff, or stuff that would explain what anarcho punk is all about. We won't know until some new user comments on it or if they checked out songs from the posts here.

I think "Guerilla" should be in this list. They influenced alot of German hardcore Punk bands.

Depends on interpretation. As I mentioned earlier, Guns of Brixton is a straight cover of the Clash song, and I thought about that for a time, and decide that it is the nature of lyrical content that makes an 'anarcho-punk' song, so while I would never refer to some of those artists as anarcho-punk, there are aspects of the individual songs that are, for example...

As soon as your born they make you feel small,
By giving you no time instead of it all,
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school,
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool,
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years,
Then they expect you to pick a career,
When you can't really function you're so full of fear,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV,
And you think you're so clever and classless and free,
But you're still fucking peasents as far as I can see,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
There's room at the top they are telling you still,
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill,
If you want to be like the folks on the hill,
A working class hero is something to be.
A working class hero is something to be.
If you want to be a hero well just follow me,
If you want to be a hero well just follow me.

Is there anything I write do that doesn't annoy you? Anyway, I posted lyrics in less than 1% of all my posts, and with reason. The first because I am not female, and thereby feel less qualified to understand than someone that is, and here as I find it difficult to see how I could give an example of one of the song's lyrics using my 'own words'. If it annoys you that much, delete the posts, and maybe in future, you could stop following me around questioning everything I write, you wasting your time, it not going to work.

Why use your own words, which seem inadequate or less appropriate than someone else's?
I see no harm in posting lyrics or quotes as replies, though I agree it would be nice to see credit given to the one who DID say it :)

Yeah, fair enough, just me being lazy, John Lennon, though seems Greenday done cover of it which is sad beyond belief.

The Greenday version isn't too bad, until they start raping it with an electric guitar solo <_<
