Wanted: musicians in the chicago land/ milwaukee land area

Looking to start a new band from scratch
along the lines of early 80's hardcore and the like

i.e.
discharge
crux
lipcream
destructors

i play rhythm guitar
i could pull off bass also

south-peoria,il. have been done here for about 2 years with no one but green dayers. almost gave up on a band and just started organizing shows/benefits.

we're about the same distance from chicago
i was going to take the public transportation methods
to you but none that i know of go in that direction
but in the coming month when i get a car
we could probably figure something out
