I can't really see anything wrong with porn (excluding of course, some elements of the industry and the use of occasional animals and children) but what really needs to be dismantled are these "shock" videos. If the "selling point" of watching a video is that "a black guy fucks a dog and then the dog dies at the end" then something has gone seriously fucking wrong with the world and we need to stop those people involved in these videos. And yes, that video exists.

Porn never did nothing for me, except make me uneasy and feeling bad for the girls in it. Can't even stand the thought of animals being abused like that. Fucking horrible, in the true sence of the word.

I hear a lot of girls get drugged and forced into it. They get them hooked on drugs, and the only way they'll give them their drugs is by doing scenes, which is absolutely disgusting.
However, if a girl decides she wants to do porno just purely because she wants to (There are cases like that) more power to her.

Porn just like anything else is in itself neither good nor bad.. it is how it is done that makes the difference. The majority of the girls in the mainstream porn industry are there by choice, in fact there has recently been a major shift towards women dominating the industry, becoming the directors, the writers, and the producers. In many ways porn is liberating for women, because they are empowered and are able to control men, and men's desires. The days of porn being an industry controlled by sick old men is dying, which is a good thing. On the other hand there still exists the darker and sicker side of porn as well, that is the side that seems to be more known to the general public, that of little girls being forced into it, and all of that.

Some good examples of successful women of porn who have had very positive experiences are Jenna Jameson and Asia Carrera, both very smart girls who could have done many other things with their life, but chose to do what they enjoyed.

So personally I have no problem with it, and all of the girls that I have met in the sex industry are awesome people.

but whats up with the men being in power and the women looking like they don't care with dark under their eyes, from coke?

its perverse in more ways than 1, i do think its important, many who say it shouldn't exist at all are lokkers etc and their lives are full of sex, literally wanted or unwanted so i can see where they come from but many can't have sexual relations and everyone needs a release, some like performing etc but creating a warped sense of sexuality is just wrong!!!!!! and i'm 'liberal' as fuck, all the genres covered, it instills bad behaviour amongst a society that needs! better examples or why should we defend it at all and who does, if we don't?

i'm not for business just turning a blind eye due to profit or pushin and agenda while getting their kit off

pornography is all about exploitation. exploiting people who want to make a quick buck with no skills so they take off their clothes and or fuck in front of the camera, and also exploiting the people who like it, making them think it is a reasonable substitute for actually having sex, whether it's exploiting their lack of social skills or lack of them being able to have sex with someone who looks like a pin up girl or whatever. The exploitation of the porn industry is really no different then any other industry that targets people and tells them this is what they need to be fulfilled.

That being said, i still say to each their own, just keep animals, children, and the unwilling out of it.

personally i find it both exploitive and demeaning to both sexes. Just not for me.
Most people in mainstream porn do go into it by free will but its the effects of porn that are damaging. Thanks to online pop-up porn and magazines being shown in public places, children are exposed to porn younger and younger and then feel they need to look like/ act like the people in the films. Second, porn shows people who look younger and younger. This idea of being with someone who looks like or is underage has raised to number of kidnapping and forced prostitution of young girls.
Of course the fact that we glorify porn doesn't help. We praise the people in the films and encourage others to be shown naked on magazine covers. Once again it sends the message that people need to look and act in a certain manner.

personally i don't like it when my partner watches porn. i choose not to tell him this because i know its just me being insecure and he should be allowed to do what he wants. freedom of choice and whatnot...
that said i do agree with what was said earlier, if your going to watch it make sure no living thing is being harmed in the process!
