    Adieksodo Biography

Adieksodo, ΑΔΙΕΞΟΔΟ in greek, meaning ''dead end'', was one of the most famous anarcho punk bands emerging from the 80's underground scene. The band formed in February 1983 and performed for the first time in October 16 of the same year. Their first discographic attempt was a split with Genia tou Haous, another well known anarcho punk band from Athens, in May of '84. Then they recorded two tracks for the most famous greek punk compilation ever made: "Διατάραξη Κοινής Ησυχίας", meaning something like disorderly conduct. Two more split cassetes followed the one with Genia tou Haous ,again, and the other with Apognosi. These cassetes were distributed from person to person, not being sold, according to the usual underground anarcho scene self organization and tape trading. In the end of 1986 they published the only lp in their history named ''38 mm'' in 800 copies by a company named Enigma records. Most of the lps were sold out of the country, most notably in Finland, where earlier ,in 1984, the group had participated in the compilation "Lasta EP II-Nobody's Perfect" by Leukemia Records. Then many lives followed ,mostly in Athens, until the end of the band in the late 1986. Their only studio album was published in cd format in 1997 and also has been reissued as lp in 2013 by the labels "B-Otherside/Scarecrow'' in 800 copies. After they disbanded Adieksodo's members participated/formed in a lot of well known greek underground bands as: "Deus Ex Machina", ''Spyridoula'' and ''Nautia'' and others... full Biography in greek here: http://www.anexartisi.gr/adieksodo/adieksodo.htm
