For me anarcho/crust/d-bear go hand in hand so I'll name both:
Crass, A//Political, Axegrinder, Amebix, Aus Rotten, Nausea, Extinction of Mankind, Behind Enemy Lines, Zounds, Omega Tribe, Icons of Filth, Conflict, Subhumans, Doom, DIRT, Contravene, Resist and Exist, Resistant Culture, A.P.P.L.E., Riot/Clone, Hellshock, Antisect, Antiproduct, Cress, Oi Polloi, The Mob, The Varukers, MDC, Disclose, Discharge.
I forgot a lot, so that's the short list.
Everybody knows the bird is the word!

Hmm- conflict, crass, subhumans, oi polloi, mau-maus, disharge, disorder, chaos uk, electro hippies- early e.n.t, doom, napalm death stuff was excellent. Omega tribe, Icons of filth, zoundz, some deviated instinct stuff was ok-. I liked a lot of U.S stuff when i was a nipper, DK's MDC Final Conflict, Toxic Reasons, (I used to love the band Adrenalin OD, but they don't fit the criteria) always been more of an 'oi boy', musically, with anarchist values though. I sometimes think that if a lot of the oi bands could drop the macho act then we'd all be singing from the same hymn sheet . The best anarcho band I've heard in a while is a band called 'spanner' from bristol. Not sure how active they are now, but they were playng some great gigs a few years back- they've got a strange mix of hardcore punk, melody and ska/folk going on- and great lyrics.
Sing a song of sixpence That's all you'll ever earn The boss gets fat from your craft It'll never be your turn And when the draft is opened You'll be forced to sing Then made to march in uniform And murdered for your king!
