    Hey guys, wondering if you could help.

    I have been looking for a disc call Oi! the gathering for a long time and wonder if anyone here can help

    Use to own it about 15 years ago but it died in a beer puddle.

    Or if any one know who does the song "Show us you tits" off of it would also help

    The disc has lager lads and pist n broke which are local bands to me that i have but it was all live kick ass tunes.

    Thanks in advance

    Cheers

    Out of interest, yes.

    Independent research turns up the bands Oxblood, who say of flag-burners, "if it happens again, be ready to die" and support and approve of random acts of violence against people who look at them funny, (with no irony), they've also got some intentionally-ambiguous songs about "enemies" who appear to be foreign scum;

    Lager Lads, who just seem like a typical drunk-and-ignorant oi band, but otherwise uninteresting;

    System, whose material I can't find but appear to be flag-waving patriots as well as mysoginists;

    Patriot, who seem genuinely hurt by accusations that they might be right-wing, but are still happy to call themselves Patriot and stylise their name in red, white and blue with stars and an eagle. They use the fairly common "patriotic-but-not-nationalist" get-out, "You had Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, and Jewish skinheads that all hung together and shared a sense of patriotism as it pertained to working class as we knew it." That said, they seem at least fairly harmless and stoopid;

    The Templars, and damned if they don't seem determined to associate themselves unabashedly with every dodgy project that comes their way;

    Anti-Heros, who despite being unable to spell and having (perhaps sarcastically) used music by Skrewdriver with their own lyrics over it, have one or two anti-nazi lyrics and seem not to like white power skinheads;

    and Pist-N-Broke who, like many bands on this compilation, are apparently "anti-political" but seem like a bunch of dumb drunkards anyway, and have songs about taking revenge on enemies...

    So, it sounds like a bunch of slightly dodgy bands, one or two EXTREMELY dodgy bands, and one big crap sandwich of a compilation.

    It also has a really badly designed album cover.

    In addition to what punkmar said about racist bands, you'll wanna look elsewhere for sexist and misogynistic songs...

    The song show us your tits is by The System. Also they didnt hate woman, the song was ment to be in the style of the Mac Ladds and only appears on that compolation. Also The System was not a rasist band, far from it.
