BIOGRAPHY

Because of such basic desires like free beer, free access to concerts and simple boredom, the band "Pestpocken" was founded. In search of a room to rehearse in, Stine´s room was the first choice. After many rehearsals, calls of annoyed neighbors and other stuff, the Pestpocken found their new home in the wet and dark cellar of the AK-44 in Giessen. Some of the highlights of the band´s existence were the tours with the Casualties 2000, Tension 2001,and the gigs with G.B.H.1997 in Mannheim, the Rotten Boi!s in Milano 2003 and especially the Pestpocken/Bad Nasty record-releaseparty with Skarface, Charge 69 and Destitution 2003 in Giessen.

After 2 EPs & the Split-LP together with the french Streetpunk band "Bad Nasty" and three other releases on compilations, there was the first change in the band. Floppy, who is the only one who had musical experience when he joined the band, replaced Mirmo on bass in 2003, who quitted because of personal reasons.

CURRENT INFOS
For this year, 4 mini-tours in Germany and Europe(with Rotten Boi!s and Skeptix) are planned and also, there's a new release on vinyl. Additionally, the Pestpocken/Bad Nasty split-LP will be released on CD by Riot Records soon. At the same time, there´ll be a russian cd release of the split-LP, which was organized by Fredz, the singer of Bad Nasty.

That's a good description. They also went on tour with The Casualties, and I know of at least one Casualties song they covered in the past. I'd also add that Die Toten Hosen probably also had some influence on them here and there.
