Hey, I live in the East Midlands (England). We have a thriving DIY scene across the area, with some amazing venues, and bands gigging on a regular basis. I volunteer at our local anarchist community centre (where you can find a vegan bar and kitchen, and monthly punk fundraisers). As much as I love punk in all its flavours, I'm also into genres such as psychobilly, deathrock and trad goth. I go to gigs pretty much weekly. It would be great to connect with volunteers at other autonomously-ran places globally. Cheers!
