I share with you an article and a musical mix to commemorate the 19th of July:

19J: Homenaje en la Huella - Confederación Nacional del Trabajo

Eighty-seven years ago, the Social Revolution of 1936 began. "The working class, organised, stood up to the fascist coup, without waiting for the government to take action", the organisation points out. And, without waiting, the working class got down to work, collectivising the means of production, organising militias to sweep away fascism.

With this humble tribute, to be held on Wednesday 19 July at 19:00 at La Huella (Artxanda, Bilbao), "we intend to remember these women and men, who gave their all against fascism and for the revolution", emphasise the CNT. "We do not want it to be a mere act of remembrance", the anarcho-syndicalist organisation said; "our aim is to recover the example they left us: the organisation of the economy by working men and women; class organisation to confront fascism; political and social self-organisation outside the state", the CNT wanted to emphasise.

"Our emancipation as a working class must be our own work, and there is no political party or state that is going to get us out of the ecosocial and systemic crisis: that is why we call on you to come to this tribute", concluded the anarcho-syndicalist organisation.
