I'm not translating poorly (well, not more than usual), a lot of the lyrics are written in a weird way. It's like they chose words and sentences just to make stuff rhyme - yet it doesn't really rhyme either. Oh well.

 

I swear, that's what they're saying! I had to learn that word just for that as well.

I know there are better quality versions online (like the source FLAC if you buy it from the label) but I got a hold of the EP yesterday and couldn't resist recording it. I like to make my own backups from vinyl, sometimes the sound ends up a bit grittier and... well, cooler.

 

Lol, I don't know if that's what they were trying to express. "Uppspacklat" is oftentimes used as a word for something that is made to be prettier (or in some cases less broken) than it actually is. The most common use of "spackel" in swedish (save for the litteral meaning - spackling paste) is actually as slang for makeup.
